The thought of telling her family or friends about her boyfriend produced feelings in her full of contradictions. Her girlfriends would never believe that she, a girl who stuck to all the rules both at home as in school, would ever be with a guy know as the very leader of the wrong crowd. Only thinking about her friend’s reactions to the revelation would send shivers through her body. All the girls knew about him, though they all agreed he was an untouchable they all secretly fancied him. He was different; he seemed to be preoccupied with a whole other world far out of their reach. They all said his strangeness was repulsive but it was that very strangeness which made them lay uncomfortably in their clean beds at night.
